Shelby County Dog Owners Group is a grass roots nonprofit group formed to promote responsible dog ownership and raise funds to build a community, off-leash dog park.
Our main fundraising objective is for an Off-Leash Dog Park in Shelbyville. With the cooperation of the Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department we have agreed to lease Sunset Park. Up to and including after this park is built, we promoting responsible dog ownership.
We invite you to participate in our effort by becoming an active volunteer, attending an event, or making a donation. If you are a guardian of a dog, a dog lover, or you simply recognize the community’s need for this pawsitive project. |

We are a 501c3 Federal NonProfit—all donations are tax deductable. |

We will accept any unopened pet food donation at any event for local food banks to distribute to families in need. |
