Hello and thank you for your interest in the dog park.

Shelbyville Dog Park is a grass roots effort to build a community, off-leash dog park in Shelbyville, Indiana.

We have formed a nonprofit organization called Shelby County Dog Owners' Group and our main objective is to advise in the development of and do fundraising for a Shelbyville Off-Leash Dog Park.

We have had our initial meeting with the Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department and agreed to use one of the City Parks. The frontrunner is Sunset Park.

We invite you to participate in this project by making a financial contribution or by becoming an active volunteer. Our goal is to raise the needed funds of $20,000 to begin construction by 2010. If you are a guardian of a dog, a dog lover, or you simply recognize the community’s need for this positive project, please become a Founding Patron.
